What are you reading and why? What else do you plan to read in the near future?

I'm reading The Mass: A Study of the Roman Liturgy by Fortescue. I started it a long time ago and now I'm about half way through and I'm realizing how many things I did not understand about the history of our liturgy. I think it is great to be humbled and realize how many ignorant assertions I've made so I'm enjoying it.
The other book I'm reading is Spiritual Conferences by Faber. I am amazed at the relevance of his writings even 200 years later. I think I've really enjoyed the shorter length of each topic so I can have time to digest each subject without getting discouraged trying to read an entire book on one topic. I mean, I can do that, but it doesn't happen often.
