Dear Friends on the Forum,
Thank you all for your prayers and advice over the past few months...
I started a 54 Rosary Novena on Ash Wednesday to know the will of God for me in my life whatever it might be. I finished it on Low Sunday, and it was the first time I have ever completed the full 15 decades for the entire time.
Well, the very day that I finished the Rosary Novena, a novus ordo friend of mine wrote me an email out of the blue telling me that he had decided to become a traditional Catholic. He had previously asked me to consider him as a suitor, but I had told him that I could not marry anyone who was not a traditional Catholic. Well, he is not the sort of person to make such a decision just to please a girl, and so we stopped talking for awhile.
So, after Easter when he wrote to me on the very last day of my 54 day rosary novena, I was rather surprised. I was still skeptical, but he proved himself many times over as having decided to become a traditional Catholic not for me but for the right reasons. I even have friends who have family who go to his chapel! (What a small world it is when it comes to traditional Catholics!)
Anyhow... As of almost 3 weeks ago, he came out to meet my family and officially received my father's permission to court me. And I just wanted to ask you to continue your prayers that God's will be done in this whatever it may be.
God bless!
Rita

“The Most Holy Virgin in these last times in which we live has given a new efficacy to the recitation of the Rosary to such an extent that there is no problem, no matter how difficult it is, whether temporal or above all spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, of our families… that cannot be solved by the Rosary. There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary.”--St. Lucia dos Santos
