Share any current projects you have going...
Our current project is replanting the herb spiral that I started last year and I am planting some fall and late summer bulbs. I have several fruiting bushes that I got at a sale which I will plant as well. I am also working on another herb garden but it will be mostly tea and medicinal.
Another project soon to be under way is a shoe storage system that my children will actually use, however, the wall may need to be painted first. I've never painted a wall, as my mother would never let me near a paint brush or roller growing up.

Thanks, Vox! If we go forward with the project, and decide to paint, I will have quite a few questions.
I mean to to post more before but my battery died. Of my other projects, my children and I are all learning basket weaving. The two oldest children and I were supposed to take a class on hand spinning yarn but it was cancelled, so that is on hold until Fall.
Sometime this week, hopefully, I am going to sit down to demonstrate watercolor painting, with both cakes and tubes, for my children. I want to take them out eventually to do some plein air painting.

What kind of bulbs are you planting, Clotilde? I've been trying to beautify the place this spring. I've always had romantic ideas about planting an incredibly attractive perennial flower garden, but I am terrible at planning it. My husband cut down a big maple tree in our front yard last spring, so we dug a big ring around it. Already in front of the stump was a clematis plant that has been there for years. I'm putting a stone bird bath on top of the stump with some low lying red and white annuals in it. Around the stump I'm planting creeping phlox, as they are grow like crazy and I think they'll cover the stump. I've not done those two things yet. I planted yellow delphinium's on the back side of the ring. On the sides I planted Iris. On the front sides I planted mums, and front and center we planted calla lilies. We're so excited about the calla lillies! We planted those in honor of our first year married. They were the main flower at our wedding. We were thrilled to see they made it through the winter.
I'm working on my herb garden too. I had herbs scattered around in different plots, and now I'm consolidating them into one. There's not too many plants to move, as not many made it through the winter. Currently I'm waiting on the herbs that self seed themselves to pop up so I can move them.

My project today is digging 120 holes to plant tomatoes in. They aren't small holes, either. In the greenhouse we grew our tomato plants nearly two foot tall, and we plant most of the plant underground to establish a really strong, deep root system. About 6 inches under the plant, covered with dirt, I put a banana, an egg, and some epsom salt, so that when the plant is well established and ready to set fruit, it will have reached it and will have the added nutrients it needs to give lots of fruit. I put rabbit poo on the same level I put the plant in.

I'm tiling (not tilling) my basement floor. This is my first floor tiling project. I've tiled a wall once before, putting small back-splash tiles around the kitchen cupboards. Floor tiling does not seem to be very difficult, so far. The biggest challenges seem to be laying out the starting lines and dealing with the uneven concrete floor. I'm 90 tiles in and done with the most uneven part of the floor, so I think it's smooth sailing from here, unless I didn't layout my starting lines right. There are two sections of my basement, totaling ~670 sq ft. My goal is to get the 400 sq. ft. of the first, most finished, part of the basement done in the next couple of weeks.

I've never painted a wall, as my mother would never let me near a paint brush or roller growing up. You are lucky you've escaped that dreadful task for this long. I don't like painting.
