Select as many answers as you like... Not the first one though, the boxes were lined up weird, that was supposed to be the question.

I voted SSPX, Eastern Rite, and diocesan with old priest; but if it came to the crunch I might be willing to attend the others.

OFFENDING COMMENT REMOVED PER MODERATOR I have met Byzantine clergy and I do love the tradition, art, etc. I especially like the Jesus prayer which is very useful all day every day...! If you wish to remain a member on this forum, you must cease and desist promoting and or drawing attention to the pretender "Michael."

...Well I follow pope Michael, so there are no churches in communion with him near me. I have met Byzantine clergy and I do love the tradition, art, etc. I especially like the Jesus prayer which is very useful all day every day...! The Jesus Prayer while excellent is more in line with the orthoducks than Byzantine CATHOLIC spirituality. And further The Divine Liturgy of St John Christosom as far as I understand it is autonomous from whomever it prays for as "POPE" within the liturgy... meaning, if there is some doubt or controversy about the Popes true Identity...it does not redound to the validity or efficacy of the Mass to bestow True Grace and fulfill the Sunday obligation. There was in history a time when the emperor or local monarch was named in the same litany along side the named Pope.

Still waiting to hear where His Midwesternness' parents received the authority to elect their son as "pope".
