Last year I started a Mary Garden and put up an unpainted cement statue of the Blessed Virgin. It has gotten dingy over the winter. I am supposed to be going with a "weathered" look or is there some way to clean this?

The big home stores sell clear patio sealer for concrete patios and walks...it comes in satin..or gloss...get the satin. Powerwash or vigorously wash with garden hose...let dry in sun for a day or even 2...(moisture will make it peel if it diesnt dry out)....get a gallon of sealer and generously slop it all over the statue...it will be milky white at first but will dry clear. This should help keep the statue in good shape.. I do it every couple years or sooner if it needs it.

Thank you. This sounds fairly uncomplicated.

Jesus is the one who was crucified on the Cross for the sins of mankind. The Virgin Mary was not. Jesus is the only one who one should be dedicated to.

You have never heard of the centuries old tradition known as a Mary Garden? You should really read up on it, it's a lovely devotion where the flowers represent many different things in the life of Our Lady. It's a Catholic tradition.

TC does not tolerate even a microscopic denigration of Our Lady...ever.

I will answer this dope this way...God was not the only one who gave up their only begotten Son for our sake.
