This forum is the most helpful Trad Catholic forum out there. It just needs more people.

This forum is the most helpful Trad Catholic forum out there. It just needs more people. Were up to 118...but only about 12 or so on average regularly add content..(and thank you for that) I try to draw folks in from FB...and I got a few to come. The paradox is...that while no one seems to like drama filled and contentious forums...THEY seem to attract the most members.

The controversial forums draw in the radicals who seem to have unlimited time to push their agenda and pet novelities. The forums seem busy and full of posts, but often consist of the same regurgitated material. It is true that people tend to be drawn to the drama and entertainment of debate, and while there are times these actually have substance, a great deal of the time these "debates" are conducted by ignorant people devoid of facts or cited resources. Personally, I enjoy reading posts here, especially the cited or posted sources which I find a valuable resources.

It will all come in due time. When other people get tired of their daily Feeneyite debate or talk about Hitler, they may come here.

Yes, the feeneyites debate is tiresome as they refuse to see the falsehood of their position. The nazi's were condemned. That debate is also boring.

The thing about this forum is that we all believe the same things 98 percent of the time. We all agree so their is little to discuss besides questions about the faith for learning.

I like this forum. Yeah need more people though. I'm fed up with the drama filled and contentious forum that I have been going to, so I put a link to this forum in my signature file there, hopefully to draw more people here.

The higher your standards or the more you expect out of yourself, the fewer peers you have. It's true in sports, finances, education, and religion.

As others have said it is helpful, but needs more posters. I don't really have much to contribute but I do enjoy reading the forum, especially the resources posted here!
